Healthy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Who else wants more treats during fall and winter?! At Balanced Friends we love creating healthier treats but neither of us are good bakers so simple ingredients and directions are a must for us! This recipe is so easy to make, satisfies the sweet tooth, and uses really simple ingredients.
2 Bananas (pretty ripe. spotty is good)⠀
1.5 c Organic Gluten Free Rolled Oats ⠀
1 tsp Organic Ground Cinnamon (can add more or less depending on your taste)⠀
1/4 c Organic Pure Maple Syrup ⠀
1/4 c Dark Chocolate Chips (I rarely make a treat without chocolate but feel free to leave out of this isn’t your thing) ⠀
Preheat oven to 350. Smash all that together in a big bowl. Use a tablespoon to place some of the cookie mixture onto unbleached parchment paper (visit our link below for our Free Kitchen Detox Mini Course to find out why we recommend unbleached parchment paper) and shape into cookie form. Bake for about 12-15 minutes. That's all there is to it! Easy, clean treats are my jam. I have also tried using organic almond butter in place of the maple syrup and it also tastes delicious!
